So I have a new favorite movie. When my sister was up over break she made me watch “Garden State” I didn’t really want to see any movie that involved NJ, but I was talked into it, and then completely amazed.
First of all it had Natalie Portman. This alone makes any movie worth watching. Not only did it have her in it, it was amazingly strange. It was paced a bit slower, and it was better for the things it left unsaid, or the timing, than the things it did say.
You have to see it to really understand. The humor was perfect for my dark mood.
So, watch Garden State.
