Graduation is over and done with. The pictures of it are up in my picture gallery under the graduation section. I moved some of the galleries around a little bit.. hopefully everything makes more sense that way.
Graduation was kind of cool. There were a whole lot of people there, and I’m glad my family got to be there along with Jen. It’s good to be done with the undergrad part of my education. It’s a little intimidating to be moving onto the graduate part. Classes will be harder, and the work I do will be more time consuming. Hope it all goes well.
So, after graduation I had a bit of a break and I spent it all with Jen. We decided to take advantage of our mutual free time and visit Albany and NYC. It was really an interesting trip. I’ve never been to Albany before and this was my first time going to NYC pretty much all on my own.
There are pictures of our trip somewhere on the picture site.. Under the section of Jen. We decided to do all of the tourist things, and we accomplished a lot of sight seeing during the day. It was such a long day and we were so tired afterwards. It was nice to be done with that section of our vacation and be able to sleep in past 5AM. But, it was still a great time.
I’m here in Rochester now, working in the labs over the summer. I’m just trying to make ends meet with this. It sucks to be far away from Jen. Last summer we were too close, this summer we’re too far away. I dont know what the optimal distance is. Life sort fo sucks, I’m working monday through friday, Jen’s working saturday and sunday usually… or at least one of those days. So, who knows. Eventually the summer will be over with and then i’ll be the one working one of the weekend days..
Anyway, I’m looking forward to spending time here with my friends during the week, and then spending as much time with Jen as i can. In the end things always work out.
