So, my break finally got here. I’m definitely happy about that. I get a week to do whatever I like. I only have a few things that I’m really responsible for doing, and I have the rest of the time to just read the paper and catch up on TV. 😉
I’ve turned the last week into an effort to keep myself up to date on political issues. This is not an easy task. I need to find one place that gives me a succinct summary of the whole deal. I haven’t really found that yet, so I’m working on piecing together all kinds of different news. At least I have the free time to do it. I don’t se how the average person would have the time. I know that I wouldn’t unless I was on break, or was taking fewer classes.
So, over the last weekend we went up to Jason’s new place with Jen’s friend Sarah and her boyfriend Steve. That was a pretty good time.
Again with the funnel. I drank a lot of beer in a short amount of time. I also discovered the perfect temperature for chugging beer. Maybe not the most worthwhile endeavor, but it’s certainly a form of stress relief.
We played monopoly over the weekend too. That was almost fun. No, it was a good time, just that I lost. I definitely learned a lot about the game though. And next time I play, I’ll be ahead of the curve.
I’m just hanging out at Bonaventure now. Jen’s been really busy with schoolwork. That means that I have a lot of time to just sit by myself and work on my to-do list. Mostly my list has had “The New York Times” at the top of it. But there are some other job related things that I need to get done. And on that note, I’m out of here.
