From what I understand, the PS3, it only does: EVERYTHING.

I don’t have one, but I do have a 42″ LCD TV without a Blu-ray player. My main thing against buying on is the fact that I don’t play video games, I would just want it as a multimedia playback device.

Jason, here’s some discourse for you:

That game is awesome. Too bad there are only about 6 titles on the PS3 I can’t play on Xbox yet. Yet.

I brought 3 computers and my PSP to Stef’s parent’s house for 4 days. On day 1 I beat 4 games I’ve been lazy about completing, ate more turkey than a man should eat, slept until 11 PM, woke up and beat a fifth game, and started an addicting game around 1 AM that has zero plot that sucked up my PSP’s battery over the passage of 5 hours. Stef is shopping. I forgot to bring a PC game with me, so I’m trying to keep busy with “Horde of Orcs” on my Mac while the PSP charges.

Day 2 is shaping up questionably. I am tired and ache from too much food and drink. Do not combine cabernet sauvingnon with turkey – it is some kind of natural rohypnol or something.

i’ll agree with pizza and beer, but would maybe advise you against the girl part if you want to keep it totally pleasant. granted, when a bunch of us girls hang out together with pizza and beer, it’s a grand time. but that’s mostly because, as females, we are adequately equipped to handling the ranting and giddy neurosis of our own sex.

stick to food basics and you should be fine.

I dunno. Couldn’t do it…I guess the story wasn’t up to the level of the visuals for me. I got bored 1/3 of the way through and axed it.

Now “Pan’s Labyrinth”…*that* is a great movie.

I was astounded by this film. I loved the book and this did a great job of translating the Graphic Novel to film. I do have to say that watching it in IMAX was impressive. If for no other reason than seeing a 30 foot blue penis on screen in Utah.
