I love the simplistic / minimalistic backgrounds. My favorite recently is hilarious:

Penny Arcade had this great strip about what it would be like to be a Boy Scout in a fantasy world.

The result is fantastic.

I decided it was time for a new background.

I browsed around for a long time on 4chan’s background section but it was full of fail and aids. I usually get much better quality there.

Also, big changes around here in the theme for both Serendipity and the Forum.

It’s been a while since I’ve played Portal, but I still think about how much I enjoyed it.

I found a pretty awesome background to remind me of this.

Edit: Grabbed new version from creator’s Deviant Art page. Looks like the problem with the hollow corner (which i had never noticed) was fixed.

I’ve been playing a little bit of Team Fortress 2 since I bought my new machine. Not a lot, just a little.

What great strategy would I used to ward off said Ninjas?

Luckily someone made an instructional poster for just such an occasion.

Pro Tip – Ninjas can’t catch you if you’re on fire.

The Jaws of Life are pretty awesome. As a kid I used to call them the Jaws of Death. I just figured that sounded better.

I’ve found a background that represents this awesomeness.
