The summer has been upon us for quite some time.

I haven’t posted any updates in way too long.

Much has happened but I don’t have any pictures of it. I really think I need to buy a new camera to bring this site back to life.

Lets start with some of the most recent events.

    Julie’s Wedding:
I spent Wed – Sunday in Buffalo hanging out with friends and family for Julie’s wedding to Nick. She got married at the Hearth on Saturday.

Driving up from NC was a blast in the Z. West Virginia is my new favorite state for driving. The trip took me something like 11 hours but was worth it.

Wednesday I spent some time with family which was good. I haven’t seen them all in forever. Amanda got her braces off while I was there. She’s grown up a lot. She’s gonna be a heartbreaker.

Thursday was probably one of the more eventful days.

I went up to Buffalo with my Aunt Tina to hang out with Jason for Thursday at the Square. Violent Femmes were playing so I figured it would be a good time.

First, they wouldnt give my Aunt a bracelet because she didn’t have her ID. My aunt doesnt look anywhere near 21. She doesn’t look old, but you can tell this woman is old enough to drink you under the table if need be.

We get to drinking and the whole group of people splits up. I’m walking around basically by myself on my cell phone trying to find everyone we came with.

I started seeing some West Valley people.. I said hi to Phil which was interesting. He didn’t seem too excited to see me. Then I ran into Sarah and Jessie. They were much more excited to say hi. Fucking thrilled is more like it. I think part of this was being drunk.

After speaking with Jessie and Sarah for a while I finally managed to call Jason George back over. At this point I was drunk so I’m sure I said something completely inappropriate. It was funny to me, but no one else laughed… too bad I don’t really remember what it was.

I had pretty much assumed that since the whole West Valley crew made it out to Buffalo that Jen was somewhere close by. I was sort of curious is she’d say hi, or even look my way and smile. I guess she was serious about not being friends anymore though.

I did see Jen standing not too far away. She seemed pretty intent on not making eye contact with me. I looked, I smiled.. no response.. I think she may have forgotten who I am. I wasn’t about to remind her with the glare she was giving to no one in particular ;) I don’t think I’ve seen her with that look in a while.

It was clearly time to leave and go get drunk.

Thursday night was more of the same. Our group ran around randomly. Drinking, enjoying ourselves. The usual. We lost my Aunt for a while. I’m not sure exactly how this happened. I was a bit too drunk to recall the whole thing. I rememeber my father called me at about 1 or 2 AM saying “hey.. your aunt is looking for you”

I feel awful that my dad was up that late because she called him looking for me. We did manage to find her after enjoying some Jim’s Steakout. MMMMMMM.. damn i missed that place.

We made it back to Jason’s place and I passed the hell out. Someone ordered pizza and by the time it got there everyone was asleep. We woke up in the morning and had some to fix the hangover.

Friday was cool because I go to watch my sister go “Team Penning”

This is probably the most country thing I did all weekend besides sleeping outside. Camping is one thing, herding cows is definitely country.

Amanda is pretty good at it from what I saw, and it was good to see her actually ride. I just figured she had the horses to pet and feed and all that jazz. It’s nice to know that she can run down some innocent (and very stupid) cows and make them run for their lives.

Friday night I went up to the Massarra’s place and they had the coolest setup I’ve seen. They put RV hookups in their back yard. They must have had about 9 hookups or so. Everyone in the family who had an RV brought one. These people know how to party. There was a fire, there was drinking, and there was food. You can’t really go wrong with this. Everyone parties harder when they know that bed is only a few feet away.

Seeing Julie and Tiff was amazing. They both look awesome. Especially Julie. She was the hottest bride I’ve seen ;)

Since I brought my car up i had to give EVERYONE a test ride. I think I lost a whole lot of rubber on those country backroads. It was a good time, and definitely one of the main reason’s for driving up.

That’s enough for this post. More on the wedding in the next one.
